Bio
Christina expresses the characteristics, beauty and/or oddities of her subject matter and uses either
oil, acrylic or watercolor paints to create realistic looking paintings of nature, animals, birds
and people. Hailing from Sweden and settling in British Columbia, Canada, as a young child, she now
resides in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, Canada.
Spending many years taking community art classes and teaching herself basic drawing and painting
techniques, Christina went on to earn a diploma in Fine Arts at the North Island College in
Courtenay, BC, Canada.
Christina continues to develop her creative skills by participating and teaching community art
courses. She is an active member of the Comox Valley Arts Council, Pearl Ellis Art Gallery and
Artsphere of the Comox Valley which includes showing and selling her art in collective and solo
shows. Her art can be described as inspirational, beautiful and sometimes whimsical.
